RESTAURANT - GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS DUBAI WORLD CUP 2010
CANCELLATION POLICY
- Cancellation in writing on or before 28th February 2010- 50% refund
- Cancellation on or after 1st March 2010 – No Refund
- The Organisers reserve the right to postpone or cancel the 2010 Dubai World Cup and in the event of postponement or cancellation there will be no refunds.
DISTRIBUTION POLICY
NO ACCESS CARD COLLECTION FACILITY ON SATURDAY 27th MARCH 2010 (DUBAI WORLD CUP DAY)
- Access cards will be available for collection from 1st – 26th March 2010 only, and access card must be collected and signed for from the ticket sales office at Meydan Racecourse.
- The organizer will not be responsible for delivery to local hotels and reserves the right, if a hotel delivery address is given, not to action the booking.
DRESS CODE
The dress code for this prestigious occasion will be lounge suite or national dress for men. Modest dress is recommended for women. Ladies are encouraged to wear hats.
CHILDREN’S POLICY
Children in pushchairs will not be permitted entry into Apron Views or the Meydan Grandstand. Children will require access card to enter any hospitality area and a ticket to enter Apron Views. There is no special pricing for children.
DISABLED PERSONS
Convenient access to Meydan Grandstand is available from the Ground or Mezzanine Floors. Lifts are available on all floors to take guests to their desired level. When purchasing tickets, please specify your interest in accessible seating.
Accessible parking spaces are available for our guests with disabilities on the ground floor parking. Vehicles legally using disabled plates or window cards are permitted to park in these designated spaces. Any unauthorized vehicle found parking in a disabled space will be removed.
ADMISSION
Each Patron will be issued with the following access cards for admission and identification purposes:-
Your Access cards will be issued with Dubai World Cup access card wallets for distribution to your guests. Each wallet contains 2 x access cards and 1 x passport (information booklet).
Car park passes will be allocated as 1 per 4 guests and will not be packed in the wallets so you are free to distribute as required.
These Dubai World Cup wallets will contain detailed information for your guests on admission, racetrack facilities, timings, etc. No further access cards will be supplied.
ACCESS CARDS MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES. GUESTS NOT WEARING AN ACCESS CARD WILL NOT BE PERMITTED ENTRY INTO ANY HOSPITALITY AREA.
PARTICULAR TERMS & CONDITIONS
- In these terms and conditions, the expression “Patron” means the person company or body making the application and includes all employees, agents, staff, guests and contractors. The “Organiser” means Dubai Racing Club.
- Payment in full by the Patron must accompany the booking application and not less than one calendar month before the Event. Access card and event documentation will not be issued until the full payment due has been received.
- Payments must be paid in UAE Dirhams by UAE Company Cheque or
- Banker’s Draft made payable to “Dubai Racing Club” or by credit card (MasterCard or Visa only).
- A receipted invoice will be issued on receipt of payment unless an electronic receipt is generated at the time of booking.
- We regret that there will be no re-issue of access cards lost or stolen after collection or delivery.
- The Organiser will not admit the bearer of access card purchased from an unauthorised source and reserves the right to refuse admission to the racecourse and other areas.
- No food or drink may be brought in anywhere within the Meydan Grandstand and Hotel.
- The Organiser shall not be responsible for loss or damage to any buildings, structures, fixtures and fittings or any other property situated therein, howsoever caused, arising out of or connected with the activities of the Patron, its employees, agents, staff, guests or contractors.
- The Organiser shall not be responsible or liable for any damages or loss to any property of the Patron, its employees, agents, staff, guests and contractors howsoever such loss or damage is caused and whether or not be negligence of any employee, agent, staff, guest or contractor of the Organiser.
- The Patron is wholly responsible for the conduct of its guests, employees, agents, staff and its contractors and accepts that the Organiser may require any of the aforementioned whose conduct is likely or is considered likely to cause damage to any building, its fixtures or contents, or any other property within the relevant areas or the racecourse to leave or to be removed from the relevant area or the racecourse.
- The Patron shall be liable to the Organiser for any charges in respect of breakages, damage and cleaning costs which are considered by the Organiser to be excessive.
- The Patron acknowledges that the hiring of any hospitality option is for entertaining purposes only. Company branding and marketing is not permitted except where stipulated and included in the package. Signage will be limited to the standard signage provided by the Organiser. The Pavilions and Oasis Village Patrons may provide garden umbrellas for the tables in the garden terrace featuring it’s company name and/or logo. This is the only additional external signage and branding permitted by the Organiser. Banners, flags and decorated entrance arches will not be permitted and any branded items on display that have not been approved in advance by the Organiser will be removed.
- No product sampling or any other publicity or promotional activity is permitted unless written permission is obtained in advance from the Organiser.
- Nothing herein gives the patron any right, title or interest in any mark logo pr other intellectual property of the Organiser and gives no right to the patron to use the same at any time.
- The Patron acknowledges that by making an application for tickets it is bound by each and every provision of these terms and conditions.
- The Organiser reserves the right to alter, add to, or amend any of these Conditions and the decision of the Organiser in that respect shall be final.
- The booking form must be signed by the Patron or in the case of payment by credit card, the cardholder.
- In the event that construction of the relevant area is not substantially complete at the time of commencement of the Event, the Organiser shall consider a written request for refund by the purchaser of the access card/booking”.
